About Soul Farmer
Soul Farmer was founded on the vision of inspiring the act of sharing soulful gifts that help us to live a more nourished life. It started in the midst of the pandemic with Kelly’s desire to reconnect with herself and Mother Nature, share inspired meals with her family and community, and simply give a gift of goodness to others. Kelly transitioned her garden to a backyard farm and began the journey of growing, harvesting and sharing curated, one-of-kind, bouquets. Through seasonal bouquets and soulful experiences, Soul Farmer is a gift that keeps on giving to everyone that it touches.
Meet Kelly
Kelly Lauber is a backyard farmer and artist who sees incredible beauty in growing food from seed to harvest and sharing it with others.
Upon graduation from college, Kelly joined the burgeoning organic food movement in her hometown and the heart of the world’s salad bowl, Salinas California, working with local brands such as Fresh Express and Chiquita Foods. Her inherent appreciation for farming and food stems from her upbringing in CA, her work and a family deeply rooted in gathering around the table together.
In 2014, Kelly left the full-time professional world to start a family. She now volunteers with underserved populations and edible education organizations and splits her time between her homes and gardens in Marin and Napa with her husband, two young children and garden dog, Andi.
She’s a natural curator of goods and experiences that serve the families in her community.
Kelly’s professional experience and personal passions combined to create Soul Farmer, her ultimate cultivation of kindness and connection. Through intentional acts of service and sharing, she hopes to help make our local communities a truly beautiful place to live.
